Predictably good like my previous pizzas, the Salame was another success at Giardino d’Averno. Like most Saturday evenings, d’Averno offers Italian singing and plenty of space for rampaging five-year olds to explore. There is abundant seating, including a more subdued setting in case you only want to sample the sounds and activity from a distance. For a more thorough review of Giardino d’Averno, please see here . My simple salami pizza had all the basics right; fresh toppings infused with a bit of cooked basil and mild and sweet tomato sauce. On a scale of one to ten I give the toppings a 5.5 and the crust a 6.5
