This was my third attempt to eat at Madalu after the pizzeria/bar had previously had their brick oven closed. They might as well have had it permanently closed as the pizza Madalu prepared was well below Neapolitan standard. The Tiki-bar theme may be nice for drinking cocktails, but is hardly worth visiting for a pizza experience. Canned tomato paste and four blobs of buffalo mozzarella were wholly unappetizing. The toppings could have been salvaged by a quality crust, but a relatively thin crust with little volume allowed the liquid tomato base to sit on the surface of the pizza like day-old rainwater.I did not have my camera on this trip, but it certainly was not necessary. On a scale of one to ten I give the toppings a 3 and the crust a 2.5
