Review

This is a great introductory pizza for tourists. The pizza Italia comes dressed as the Italian national flag, the ‘Tricolore’, in green (friarielli), white (ricotta cheese) and red (cherry tomatoes) all in appropriate sequence. While Margherita pizzas are traditionally seen as the culinary epitome of Italian nationalism, possessing sufficient color in each of the three main hues, the ‘Italia’ pizza is a significant improvement on the Margherita if you have a sizable apetite. Margherita pizzas are fine for dining and displaying a pizzaiolo’s skill, but may not always fill the diner’s stomach. Pizza maxi provided above average ingredients, with below average crust. On a scale of one to ten I give the toppings a 6.5 and the crust a 3.5
