Review

Giara seems to have very few patrons on any given night compared to some of its neighbors like La Chamade. I can’t figure out why, at least based on the La Giara pizza I tried here. The three cheeses; mozzarella, buffalo mozzarella, and ricotta were an awesome base for the sausage and cherry tomatoes. While the sausage was bit fatty, the high quality cheeses and crust more than make up for that single shortcoming. The bowl-shaped crust, molded to hold ricotta inside the crust, helped enhance the flavor and creaminess of the base as well. On a scale of one to ten I give the toppings a 6 and the crust a 7
