Review

This is an all together ‘sweet’ pizza. Sweet corn, heavy cream, and tender prosciutto create a great fusion of rich and sweet tastes uncommon to pizzas outside of Italy. Mimosa pizzas are regular features on Italian pizzeria menus, although to an outsider the addition of corn may seem like an odd pizza topping. The taste is anything but odd, and Giardino d’Averno produced an excellent mimosa pizza. On a scale of one to ten I give the toppings a 7.5 and the crust a 5.5
