Review

Pizzazza is a friggitoria that has nearly fifty pizzas on the wall inside Pizzazza’s waiting area, so you certainly have a lot to choose from. I went with a personal pizza ‘first’, and tried the provolone and pesto pizza (The Genovese). The first slice of this pizza was delicious, but rapidly lost the intense taste of pesto after the second and third slice. The chef probably added too much olive oil to the pesto, or too much olive oil to the crust after the provolone and pesto had been placed. This pizza quickly coats your mouth with oil and feels extremely heavy in your stomach. Even the thick curst is unable to absorb the excess oil, and while the baked pesto and provolone taste very fresh, this pizza has far too much oil for my taste. On a scale of one to ten I give the toppings a 4 and the crust a 4.5
