Review

If my Italian to English dictionary is accurate then this pizza is named the ‘Gardner’. As you might guess it is loaded with vegetables, mostly indigenous to Southern Italy. Even if you don’t see this pizza on the menu at your Italian pizzeria, the pizza chef will certainly know that it means you want a vegetarian pizza with whatever ingredients they have on hand. Acqua & Farina does this pizza better than any I have tried so far. By baking heavy cream into a thick crust the eggplant and zucchini have a rich taste to them. The typically fresh crust is thick enough to support all the vegetables and the cream that nicely complements the rest of the toppings. On a scale of one to ten I give the toppings a 6.5 and the crust a 6
