Just as I had come to think west Naples had little to offer in the way of pizza, I found a good pizzeria, by recommendation, located in Giugliano. You still have to travel along Via Domitiana, through the valley of prostitutes, but eventually I found Pizzeria Maroder next to an American-style strip mall. Maroder serves pizza directly, in a Friggitoria-style outlet, and also serves pizza and pasta, in a restaurant only a few feet from the Friggitoria.
The Sciue Sciue is a simple pizza, with well-flavored smoked mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. Maroder bakes a delicious thick crust with light char. The cherry tomatoes help to add a sweet taste to the toppings. However, this pizza would taste just fine with smoked mozzarella as the only topping, on an already solid crust. Hay-smoked mozzarella has a strong flavor, and if you already like this kind of cheese, then I would recommend ordering this over a regular Margherita or Filetto pizza which has similar, but milder ingredients. On a scale of one to ten I give the toppings a 5.5 and the crust a 6.5
